Compact Cottages has several park model floor plans to choose from.
Compact Cottages is located in Franklin, North Carolina and has nine park model floor plans to choose from. Each plan hovers around 400 square feet and the homes are built on efficient assembly lines to ensure quality craftsmanship. The homes have downstairs bedrooms, sleeping or storage lofts, one full bathroom, full appliances, and options for full wraparound decks.
A variety of siding styles and colors are available.
Each home is built on wheels with a detachable hitch and 2×6 floor joists. They also have double studs in the walls at every four feet and triple studs around windows and doors. Each home has six hurricane straps and has R-22 insulation in the floor and R-14 in the walls. For even more insulation the homes have 7/16″ osb/tech shield radiant barriers under the Galvalume metal roof. Each home has 200 amp electrical service.
Choose from various interior styles, lighting and cabinets.
A variety of features and styles can be ordered. These include colors, siding, roofing, flooring, lofts, windows, lighting, cabinetry and bathroom fixtures. Some of the cottages can even be configured with accessibility ramps. During the design phase, Compact Cottages will also have a final cost and will help you find appropriate financing.
